France 3 Bretagne: an AI to better handle citizens' requests at town halls

France 3 Bretagne profiles HelloSpot, the Rennes platform using Mistral AI to guide residents and track requests in 700 local authorities.

France 3 Bretagne article on HelloSpot and AI serving citizens' requests at town halls

On April 24, 2026, France 3 Bretagne (the regional public TV channel for Brittany) ran an article on HelloSpot, the Rennes-based software company developing AI to help town halls handle citizens’ requests. The headline quotes Dominique Péré, interviewed by journalist Romain Bizeul: “It’s the way things are going.”

From RDV360 to HelloSpot

The article looks back at the journey so far. Under the name RDV360, the platform already manages appointments for 700 local authorities, including Brest, Muzillac, Allaire, Narbonne and Neuilly-sur-Seine. Now called HelloSpot, it goes further: it handles the entire citizen relationship, not just the calendar.

The change comes down to an observation every town hall knows. Requests arrive from everywhere: phone, e-mail, counter, mail, online form. They get lost, they get duplicated, and the front desk agent ends up facing an unhappy resident without being able to tell them where their file stands.

A Mistral AI to guide and track

France 3 describes the role of the AI built into HelloSpot, developed with the French technology Mistral:

  • guiding citizens through administrative procedures, so they find the right process the first time;
  • automating request tracking, so that every request is logged and assigned to the right department.

The outlet notes that this rollout follows a one-year pilot, with general availability planned for the end of May 2026.

Why “the way things are going”

Dominique Péré tells France 3: HelloSpot will not be alone in this field for long, AI is going to settle into the citizen relationship. For HelloSpot, the real question is therefore which AI. Staff already use consumer tools that guarantee nothing about residents’ data. Better an AI built into the business software, hosted in a controlled environment, compliant with the GDPR and the EU AI Act, and that always leaves the decision to staff.

That is the choice HelloSpot has made: an AI-enhanced citizen relationship management platform where AI qualifies, guides and assists, and where people validate.
